Everyone that know's our family knows that The Garretts are 'foodies' at heart. Below are some of our seasonal favorites. Check back often. I'll try to add a new recipe each week! Bon Appetit!

Brown Jug Soup

This is perfect for a cold winter's supper!

1 cup finely chopped celery
2 cups Potato, finely diced
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 qt Water
2 teaspoons chicken stock or buillion cubes

Mix the above ingredients in a large soup pot & cook for 20 minutes. The potatoes should cook down almost completely. Then add:

2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 # Velveeta Cheese, cubed
1 10 oz. Pkg, frozen chopped brocoli
1 10 Pkg, frozen cauliflower
Salt & pepper to taste.

Cook over low heat until cheese is melted & vegetables are done. I usually place in my slow cooker so I don't have to watch it so carefully or worry about sticking.
